Margin and Leverage on Swapmos

Leverage is nothing more than the ratio between a position and the collateral behind it. Initial margin is notional divided by leverage, taken from free balance when you open. Maintenance margin, usually half of that, is the line you have to stay above or the position gets closed for you. The cross and isolated toggle sits at the top-left of the ticket.

Leverage works in both directions. At 100x, a 1% move against a position takes out all of the margin behind it.
